Austrian-based company Enery Development GmbH has acquired 71MW worth of solar farms in the Czech Republic. The ‘Energy 21’ portfolio comprises 36 solar PV plants, many of them located in the Moravia and Bohemia regions.
Enery plans to merge the Energy 21 portfolio with its existing 21MW of solar PV capacity in the Czech Republic. This acquisition brings the Austrian company’s total capacity to 92MW from 45 operational solar PV plants in Central and Eastern Europe.
Enery was founded in 2019 by current CEO Richard Koenig, COO Lukas Nemec and independent power producer RP Global to focus in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe.
