Enugu DisCo to embark on mass disconnection of customers
- To take effect today, 22nd February 2021
- Advises customers to pay outstanding bills
The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) is set to embark on mass disconnection of its customers. The Head, Corporate Communications of EEDC, Mr. Emeka Ezeh has said the exercise will go on for the entire week across all 18 district offices of the Distribution Company (DisCo).
“Customers are therefore advised to ensure they pay up their bills”, Mr. Ezeh stated. “They should make available the evidence of payment to officials of EEDC that will be visiting their homes/premises. This applies to both prepaid and postpaid customers,” he said.
Enugu DisCo further urges its customers in the South-East to support the efforts of the DisCo by ensuring their bills are paid in a timely and consistent manner.
