Due to planned maintenance, Eskom, South Africa’s utility firm, has disclosed that it will implement a 16-hour power outage in the North West area. The maintenance, scheduled to start by 8:00 am on Wednesday, 24 January, will last until 12:30 am on Thursday, 25 January.
In a brief statement, Eskom said that electricity supply will be interrupted in Danville Ext 2 and Lupine area on 24 January 2024 from 08:00 until 00:30 for maintenance. “Customers are urged to treat all installations as live during this period. Apologies for the inconvenience,” the power utility said.
