IImatar Energy Oy, a Finnish renewable energy producer, has revealed in an announcement that it has commenced assessing the possibility of developing a solar project between 100 MWp and 130 MWp in the area of Loimaa town.
Should the company proceed with the proposal, the project will sit on 170 hectares of land, producing 130 GWh of electricity every year. Antti Tiri, the development manager of IImatar noted that the company is also developing solar projects of the same capacity somewhere else in Finland.
As announced at the start of the month, Ilmatar has already made the investment decision for its first solar project – a 5-MWp installation in Joroinen municipality.
