The French group CMR has announced the installation of solar energy facilities in Zanzibar archipelago, Tanzania. With a combined capacity of 1MWp, the solar systems are being deployed at the Mango Tree Beach Hotel Group.
Three solar systems will be installed, one with a capacity of 400 kWp, and another with a total of 300 kWp, and supply the Baraza Hotel on the main island of Zanzibar. On the same island, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, the French group CMR has also built a small 300 kWp solar power plant that supplies the Palms Hotel.
