Firm Receives Finance for Solar Farms in Japan

  • Sonnedix finalises a USD106.6 million fundraising with MUFG.
  • Sonnedix Japan now handles over 500MW of capacity.

Sonnedix Japan KK, a subsidiary of Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd, has received finance for 34.5MWp solar farms in Japan. The IPP said it had finalised a USD106.6 million fundraising with Japan’s MUFG Bank Ltd as the lead negotiator.

The funds were used to purchase the Hanamizuki (18.1MWp) and Motegi (16.4MWp) photovoltaic (PV) facilities. Sonnedix Japan now handles over 500MW of capacity, including projects built and developed in late 2021.
