Shizen Energy Inc, a Japanese renewable energy developer, stated that it has agreed to build a 33.4MWp of solar power capacity for Origo Energia, a Brazilian renewable energy firm.
The agreement was reached through the FazSol Energias Renovaveis joint venture between local real estate firm Espaco Y and Shizen Energia do Brasil Ltda. FazSol will build 17 sun farms in Ceara and Minas Gerais and the Federal District of Brazil. The output of the photovoltaic (PV) parks will be distributed to Origo Energia consumers via a remote net-metering system.
Shizen intends to finish construction on the PV systems by November 2022, according to the company’s news statement.
Shizen Energy and Espaco Y have now collaborated on a total of 25 renewable energy projects in Brazil, according to the Japanese corporation.
