- To build a power substation for ECG
- Project to be implemented over 24 months
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has awarded the contract for the construction of a substation. This was made known in an announcement by the Egyptian giant Elsewedy Electric on Sunday. The project, which costs $16.7 million, will be constructed over a period of 24 months.
In a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), Elsewedy stated that the ”…scope of work includes the design, supply and installation of the whole project,” According to Elsewedy Electric, the contract will be implemented on a turnkey basis.
Elsewedy Electric has 37 subsidiaries operating across Northern Africa, Eastern Africa, Middle East and Southern Europe.
