Gonvarri Solar Steel, a solar racking solutions manufacturer, has been contracted to supply 220 MW solar trackers for three plants of Spain’s multi-energy group Repsol projects.
The supply agreement is for 4,278 of Solar Steel’s single-row and dual-row TracSmarT+ 1V devices.
The trackers will be used for power generating capacities of 120 MW, 50 MW and 50 MW to produce enough electricity to power around 127,000 households each year.
Repsol has started power production at its third solar project, the 204 MW Sigma solar photovoltaic (PV) complex.
