- Funds to develop a 3-GW wind and solar PV portfolio.
Spanish renewable energy firm Greenalia SA secures around USD 200 million (EUR 185.6m) for US renewable projects. The funds will develop its 3-GW wind and solar PV portfolio in the United States. Greenalia’s subsidiary, Greenalia Power US Advanced II LLC, will manage the financing.
It is structured as a three-year loan and supports project expenses, including equipment and construction. “This marks a significant milestone in our US expansion,” said Antonio Fernandez-Montells, Greenalia’s CFO. Nomura Securities International leads the financing, a first for Greenalia in the North American market.
