Greencells, a German solar developer and EPC services provider, has acquired solar projects in Spain and Greece, totalling over 300MWp.The developer purchased the 29MWp Leda and Bizarrona projects in Spain and the 275MWp Megalo Monastiri project in Greece. This brings its European development pipeline to over 3.5GWp.
The company’s solar projects are scattered throughout nine European nations, with Italy accounting for the most with 1.5GWp, Greece with 525MWp, and Spain with 400MWp.
“Everything is going according to schedule. Our projects in Hungary and France are currently being built. The ready-to-build status is only a formality for many other projects and can be expected within a few months,” said chief executive Andreas Hoffmann.
