Swedish furniture consortium, Ikea will start selling solar modules online in Spain from January. The company, in its statement, stated that it wants to make renewable energy available for many people, and it intends to provide offers that are both affordable and financially attractive for consumers. The Company added that its Solstrale PV modules are fitting git consumers who want to self generate.
Ikea currently offers online solar panel sales in France, Australia, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Poland, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the U.K. Ikea works in collaboration with local installers to enable the sale of complete, turnkey, home solar rooftop systems. Ikea hopes to extend its Solstrale panels sales network to 30 markets by 2025.
