Meanwhile, the launch event in Lagos drew distributors, EPC partners, stakeholders, and media representatives, underscoring the company’s strategy to expand clean energy access. The new products, the Power Tank 500W AIO and the 3.6kW + 8kWh AIO, are compact, easy-to-install systems designed for homes and small businesses.
In addition, both models feature seamless power switching, fast charging, overload protection, and smart hybrid-ready capabilities to ensure safety and reliability.
“We are proud to introduce products that solve the real challenges Nigerians face with energy, while creating new opportunities for our partners across the country,” said Lu Liang, Director of West Africa at Itel Energy. “itel has been in Nigeria for over a decade, building a reputation for affordability and reliability. With Itel Energy, we extend that promise from mobile connectivity to energy security.”
Furthermore, the wall-mounted Power Tank 500W AIO has a 1 kWh lithium battery and a two-hour full recharge. The larger 3.6kW + 8kWh AIO system is tailored for family homes and small businesses, offering automatic load management, a two-year replacement warranty, and up to 50% savings on installation costs.
The event, hosted by TV personality and Big Brother Africa Season 5 winner Uti Nwachukwu, featured appearances by former Big Brother Nigeria contestants Kellyrae and Kassia, adding a touch of entertainment to the unveiling.
PR Manager Olaotan Fawehinmi also said the company remains committed to sustainable innovation. “We are democratising energy access, reducing dependence on erratic power supply, and empowering every household and business with smart, clean, affordable energy solutions,” he said.
itel Energy will roll out similar engagement events in Ibadan, Port Harcourt, and Warri to expand its dealer network and accelerate clean energy adoption across Nigeria.
