JinkoSolar has announced that it will supply a 1.2MWh “all-in-one” modular energy storage solution in West Africa. The new solution will include batteries, a power conditioning system (PCS), DC modular, switch cabinets and EMS software.
JinkoSolar says that the new solution delivers an improved system efficiency, a lower balance of plant costs and clipped solar recapture. The company adds that the new solution is suitable for different projects and can be deployed in different environments and conditions. This is the first project of this scale for the company that utilises DC-coupling.
