GE Grid solutions have partnered with Kenyan energy company Amotech Africa to expand electricity grid solutions in the country. GE Grid Solutions appointed Amotech Africa as its local distributor and channel partner for Kenya. The partnership will enhance the delivery of energy solutions across East Africa, Amotech Africa stated on Tuesday.
In a statement, the Head of Operations Amotech Africa Njeri Gachanja said, ”We have come a long way as a country in terms of electricity generation and value chain management. However, there is huge potential that is yet to be unlocked in this sector. As a key player in the energy sector, we are confident that through the solutions GE has to offer, we will be able to create the needed impact as we enhance safety in the sector and contribute towards efficient electricity management,”
”With decades of expertise, Grid Solutions helps utilities and the industry at large to effectively manage electricity from the point of generation to the point of consumption – to maximise the reliability, efficiency and security of the grid,” the statement read.
