Kenyon International Speaks at Dangote Business School

Kenyon International West Africa Company Limited, a leading oil and gas servicing firm, has strengthened its commitment to developing Africa’s future energy professionals by actively participating in the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Africa Annual Student Congress 2025.

The event took place recently at the Dangote Business School, Bayero University, Kano, and attracted top students from across the continent. These students convened to explore the future of energy and identify the critical skills required to drive the industry forward.

Kenyon International sponsored exceptional students from Ghana, Tanzania, and Uganda as part of its ongoing talent development and corporate social responsibility initiatives. The company provided these students with access to high-quality learning and networking opportunities, thereby reinforcing its role in shaping the next generation of energy leaders.

One of the Ugandan students, sponsored by the company, distinguished himself in the PetroBowl competition. He earned a coveted spot to represent Africa at the prestigious Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) in Houston, Texas.

Meanwhile, Victor Ekpenyong, the CEO of Kenyon International, reiterated the company’s commitment to youth empowerment and sustainable growth in the energy sector.

He stated, “A brighter energy future is emerging, and we are dedicated to shaping it by driving change and ensuring energy is rightly valued and better utilised in Africa.”

According to him, this scholarship recognises outstanding SPE Africa students based on academic excellence, leadership potential, and dedication to the oil and gas sector.
