- Montserrado representative decry poor electricity supply
- Health and Security facilities without supply
- To invite LEC chief on the issue
The Representatives of Montserrado District 6 have decried the lack of electricity supply in the area. Rep. Samuel Enders, an Independent Lawmaker from the District, has said it is disheartening for a District home to top government officials, including President George Weah and his Deputy, to be without electricity supply.
Enders added that critical healthcare and security facilities have been without supply for several months. He added that he has communicated with the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) management on the issue and requesting them to formulate concrete plans with stipulated time to ensure the availability of electricity supply in the District.
Rep. Enders added that the House of Assembly would invite the Director LEC to explain the continuous outage.
