Lisarb Energy, a renewables developer with headquarters in the UK, however, but more commonly associated with Brazil has announced that it has opened an office in Portugal for the development of 1 GW of projects across Europe by 2023.
The group’s first target is to develop a slew of renewables and after that look into the development, financing, building and operating of new solar, wind, marine and hydrogen projects in Europe out of its new office in Lisbon.
“I look forward to working with the team as we roll out renewable energy projects across Portugal and other European countries, helping to meet their decarbonisation plans,” commented Antonio Loureiro, Lisarb’s newly-minted Head of Europe who is leading an initial team of six technical staff in the Portuguese capital.
