After the business’s turnover surpassed CNY 100 billion for the first time in 2022, China’s Longi Green Energy Technology Co Ltd stated today that it anticipates generating more than CNY 160 billion in sales in 2023. Revenue for Longi in 2022 increased by 60% annually to CNY 129 billion. The company’s revenue increased by 52.35% in the first quarter of 2023 to CNY 28.3 billion. Additionally, Longi’s net profit increased dramatically in 2022, rising by 63% to CNY 14.8 billion.
According to the company, it manufactured 85.06 GW of monocrystalline silicon wafers last year, of which 42.52 GW were sold to third parties and 42.54 GW were used internally. This means that the company has led the world in sales of monocrystalline silicon wafers for nine years in a row. Longi also produced 46.76 GW of monocrystalline silicon modules in 2022, with almost all sold externally, holding the top rank for global shipments of modules and market share for three consecutive years.
Longi anticipates shipping 130 GW of wafers and 85 GW of modules this year. The company may produce 133 GW of monocrystalline silicon wafers, 50 GW of cells, and 85 GW of modules by the end of 2022. This year, it plans to boost each of its manufacturing capabilities to 190 GW, 110 GW, and 130 GW.
