Lontor Hi-Tech Development Company secured ₦1.2 billion from eight partners for its new Wuling Bus Partnership Programme, providing the firm with a significant boost for its 2026 growth plan.
The company announced the investment in a statement signed by its Head of Marketing, Kenneth Ozomah, following its 2025 Business Conference held last week. Ozomah said the conference demonstrated Lontor’s commitment to innovation and shared growth.
He said each partner committed ₦150 million to the scheme, signalling strong confidence in Lontor’s long-term expansion strategy and its focus on dealer empowerment.
The conference, themed “Growing Stronger Together,” brought together dealers, distributors and industry stakeholders to review progress and unveil new products. Lontor introduced MI Smart TVs, new energy-efficient kitchen appliances, and next-generation solar RESS and ESS systems, including 5kVA and 15kVA inverters.
In addition, Managing Director Eniola Olutimilehin praised the resilience of Lontor’s dealer network, saying it remained central to the company’s nationwide expansion.
Lontor highlighted its 2024 rollout of a residential solar-based energy storage system, which it claims reduces electricity costs by up to 80%.
The event’s keynote speaker, Chief Diana Chen, Chairman of Choice International Group, officially launched the Wuling Bus Partnership Programme. She said the initiative would strengthen dealer mobility, improve logistics and deepen the company’s market reach.
“The Wuling Bus is more than a vehicle; it is a tool for growth that will enable our partners to activate communities and strengthen Lontor’s presence nationwide,” Chen said.
