Japanese carmaker Mazda has completed the installation of a 1.1MW solar power system at its Hiroshima plant. The company stated that this is its first solar installation and is in line with its efforts to increase the use of clean energy in its operations.
The solar system will provide the entire energy needs of the facility as The energy will be used to charge the batteries of all MX-30 EV models manufactured in teh facility.
Like many other companies globally, Mazda has set its sights on becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
