Algerian Minister pushes for Nigerian-Algerian agreements.

Sabri Boukadoum, the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs stated the need for bilateral agreements between Algeria and Nigeria. He made this statement in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Abuja.
Sabri Boukadoum said the agreements should be at least forty. These forty agreements would cut across every issue. However, the main issues are electricity, a gas pipeline from Algiers to Lagos, and tackling insecurity.
On electricity, the minister stated that it is one of their most successful sectors and that they are willing to share their experience with Nigeria.
