- NERC Chairman met with the DG NAPTIN
- Charges NAPTIN with ensuring industry standards
The Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) on Tuesday met with the Director-General, National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN), Ahmed Nagode. The meeting centred around metering and ensuring safety standards in the sector.
According to tweets from the official handle of the Commission, the Chairman urged the DG, NAPTIN to ensure that the Institute carries out quality training of industry professionals and ensures industry practices with regards to safety and quality assurance. The DG NAPTIN also sought the Commission’s collaboration on capacity development and training within the electricity supply industry.
