To build a plan for collaboration between gas, renewable energy, and hydrogen in South Africa, the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) has requested stakeholders to submit written views on the concerns addressed in the consultation document.
The purpose of the consultation document is to help NERSA gather opinions and viewpoints from stakeholders about the likelihood of achieving a coordinated development of gas alongside renewable energy and hydrogen in the nation’s energy markets.
This consultation looks explicitly for views into the present gas reality in the changing energy transition landscape.
