  • Delta communities without power for 18 years and counting.
    • No response from BEDC

The Enuani communities in Delta State under the Enuani Project Group (EPG) have lamented the continuous blackout in the area. The communities have called upon the stated governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, to come to the rescue of the communities as the 18 years of blackout continues.

In a statement issued by the President-General, Chinedu Eugene Modebe, the group has called for the immediate rehabilitation of the 33KVA Line feeding the communities, which is the cause of the continuous blackout. The affected communities include Olodu, Olloh, Ewulu, Isheagu and Isikiti, among others.

Modebe also stated that the group had previously called on the management of Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) and the National Integrated Power Project (NIPP) with no positive response.
