Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has begun the implementation of a unique scheme aimed at encouraging customers to pay their outstanding electricity bills. The ”Arrears One-Time Settlement Scheme” (OTS) is targeted at residential and commercial consumers who fall under the Non-Maximum Demand (Non-MD) classification.
Emeka Ezeh, the Head of Corporate Communication disclosed this at the headquarters of the EEDC. The Initiative offers a 30% discount on a one-time payment of bill arrears. According to Ezeh, to benefit from the scheme a customer has to ”make a one-time full payment of your arrears and enjoy 30% discount”.
Interested customers are advised to visit the nearest EEDC branch office for further clarification.
