President Muhammadu Buhari has inaugurated new board members of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN). The committee was formally sworn in by the Minister of Power, Engr Abubakar Aliyu.
The board members will be chaired by Bukar Bulama Buni. The last TCN board, led by Ibrahim Dahiru Waziri, was dissolved in July 2015, shortly after President Muhammadu Buhari assumed office. A new committee was named in January 2021 to be chaired by Muhammad Ahmad but was not inaugurated.
However, two of the members, Imamudeen Talba and Ali Haruna, are among the new board members.
