The Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) met with the Managing Director of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA), Peter Ewesor. The was made known by the Commission in a Tweet, yesterday.
The two Executives met to discuss the need for a collaborative effort in tackling the challenges of the sector. NERC and NEMSA have agreed to work hand-in-hand to combat the challenges of the Nigerian electricity sector. Also discussed at the meeting was, the problem of service quality in the industry and in particular, meter testing and certification.
The NEMSA was set up to handle the enforcement of technical standards and regulations in the Nigerian electricity sector.
