Lilian Esoro took to social media to rant about her electricity bill

Nollywood actress, Lilian Esoro took to her social media page to rant on her most recent electricity bill. “I don’t understand. Am I running a factory? Or is this for the year? I don’t understand. Una dey mad ni? NEPA abi PHCN una dey whine me abi?”, she said.
According to her post, Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) billed her ₦790,321 for the month of January. The details of the bill included ₦345,355 for energy, ₦419,064 for net arrears, and ₦25,901 for VAT.
Other Nigerians expressed their frustrations with the bills gotten from the Distribution Companies (DisCos) with one comment saying, “Why are we even paying for electricity when we barely have light”.
There have been no comments from Eko DisCo on the actress’s post.
