German wind turbine maker Nordex SE has secured the contract to supply nine wind turbines for a wind park being developed by Italian power firm PLC SpA in Norway. Through its indirect subsidiary Monsson Operation GmbH, PLC has ordered N149 5.X TS105-01 machines for its Lutelandet project. The total capacity of the wind project, however, remains unknown.
Nordex Norway GmbH will deliver and install the equipment and provide maintenance service when the power plant goes online. The installation of the turbine is expected to be done later this year. Turbine installation will be carried out by the end of this year.
Nordex recently announced that it had received 1,534.1MW of orders in Q2 2021, higher than the 888MW received in the same period last year. The orders were from Europe and South America.
