Oregon Public Utility Commission to Host Online Forum for Consumers

The Oregon Public Utility Commission (OPUC) will host an online public forum to get comments from electricity consumers on the proposed increase in electricity tariffs. Energy utility PGE is seeking to increase its annual revenue by 2.9%, prompting the call for public engagement.

Consumers average electricity bills will increase by approximately $7.44 or 6.4% per month if the OPUC approves PGE’s request. The revenue increase request will undergo a year-long review process before approval. This will be the first revenue increase request from PGE since 2019.
