Parts of Abuja Experienced Blackout for Annual Maintenance and Assessment

  • AEDC announced specific location to experience power shortages due to annual preventative maintenance.

Residents of Apo-Gudu, Abuja, have been informed that the Gudu Injection Substation will undergo annual preventative maintenance to enhance power supply by the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC).

The AEDC management announced the maintenance would occur on March 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in a statement issued in Abuja on Monday.

Prince and Princess Estate, portions of the Kaura District, Dubai Market, Back Games Village, and a portion of Durumi 2, Adisa Estate, according to the firm, would all have power outages during this time.

The Sharia Court of Appeal, Federal Boys College, Sharon Plaza, Anon Plaza, Cedar Crest Hospital, MKK Plaza, Durumi 3 Shell Estate, A.A. Shafa Filling Station, Amina Court, NPI Estate, and surrounding districts were among the additional areas mentioned by AEDC.
