- Petrocam inaugurates a new solar power retail shop.
- Patrick Ilo, Managing Director Petrocam, says the construction of the gas skid was done to create employment opportunities for Ejirin.
Petrocam Trading Nigeria Limited has inaugurated a new solar-powered LPG retail shop in Ejirin, Epe, Lagos State, with a storage capacity of 5 metric tonnes to improve the supply and use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in the country.
During the facility’s launching, Patrick Ilo, Petrocam’s Managing Director, stated that the business developed the LPG skid to encourage energy source use, particularly in rural areas like Ejirin, where most people rely on firewood. Ilo further stated that the construction of the gas skid was done to create employment opportunities for Ejirin residents.
Patrick claims that the country’s LPG facilities are insufficient for the country’s population of nearly 200 million people. He further calls for massive investment in the LPG bulk storage and retailing through active participation in LPG distribution channels to ensure that the product is high-quality and safe for the consumers.
