- REA Signs agreement with PriVidia.

The Rural Electrification Agency (REA) has signed grant agreements for the deployment of mini-grids under the Nigeria Electrification Project (NEP). The deal signed with PriVida will see the clean energy developer deploy mini-grids in 25 communities. The mini-grids will provide 22,000 new electricity connections in unserved communities. PriVida will deploy the systems within 12 months from the deal signing.
PriVida has partnered with leading clean energy companies to design and deploy retail solar solutions in West and Central Africa, deploying projects in Nigeria and Cameroon. The company aims to deliver 10,000MW from renewable energy sources.
