Polish solar developer R.Power is set to acquire 80 MWp of solar PV projects in Germany, which it will co-develop with a local partner. The company announced that it had signed a cooperation deal with a partner described as “one of the key developers of PV farms in Germany.”Both companies will develop solar projects in several regions across the country together; they will develop projects in various regions of the country.
Przemek Pieta, co-founder and CEO of R.Power, noted that Germany is a key market in the region and represented the next logical step for the company’s expansion. the next step for us. “We want to commission projects of a capacity of at least 100MWp here annually. In the nearest future, we plan to sign further agreements with German developers, as well as to search for land for future PV farms independently,” Pieta added.
Last month, the company issued zł150 million ($39.4m) worth of green bonds. The company says that it plans to use a portion of the proceeds for its German developments.
