Reconcept GmbH, a German renewables developer and investor, has revealed that it has expanded its pipeline to 3.1GW of solar, wind and tidal power projects in the development and planning stage. In Germany, the company, based in Hamburg, is focused on solar energy and currently developing projects with a total capacity of 680 MW.
Reconcept is also the owner of an extensive project pipeline in Finland through the joint venture Tuulialfa Oy, in which the company owns a 50% stake. The joint venture has added 600 MW to its wind energy project portfolio, bringing it to 2,400 MW.
The company is focused on tidal and hydropower in Canada, its third core market. The company has a branch in Toronto with projections for significant growth potential in the local market.
Reconcept has already set up around 240 solar, wind and hydropower plants in Germany and abroad, with a combined installed capacity of around 390 MW and a total investment volume of some EUR 580 million (USD 582.43m).
