Sineng Inverters Power New 2 MW Rooftop Solar Plant in India

  • Sineng Electric commissioned a 2MW rooftop solar plant in Chakan, utilising high-efficiency SN125PT string inverters for a flexible and reliable energy yield.
  • The inverter offers SCADA-ready monitoring, robust safety features, and a compact 75 kg design that simplifies transport and installation for EPC teams.

A 2 MW rooftop solar plant at a major industrial facility in Chakan has been commissioned using Sineng Electric’s SN125PT string inverters. The company stated that the project supports Western India’s clean energy transition by providing reliable and efficient solar solutions.

The SN125PT inverter offers up to 99% peak efficiency and five MPPTs, allowing flexible system configuration and stable operation under varying sunlight conditions. Its 200–1000V MPPT range also delivers full power between 550–850V, helping the plant maximise energy yield throughout the year.

Meanwhile, designed for harsh industrial environments, the inverter features IP66 protection and C5 corrosion resistance. It delivers 125 kW output, expandable to 137.5 kVA at 35°C, ensuring consistent performance even during peak summer temperatures.

Furthermore, the inverter is SCADA-ready via RS485, with optional Wi-Fi, 4G, and Ethernet for enhanced monitoring. Safety features include DC and AC SPDs, arc-fault protection, anti-islanding, and insulation monitoring. Its compact 75 kg design simplifies transport and installation for EPC teams.

Sineng Electric said the deployment reinforces its commitment to accelerating India’s industrial solar adoption through high-performance, future-ready inverter technology.
