- SOFAR unveiled its PowerEasy solution at Renewable Energy Expo 2025, integrating solar PV and battery storage for more innovative energy use.
- The 1–5 kW residential inverter range, with a 20 Amp input, offers high efficiency, intelligent monitoring, and robust protection for Indian rooftops.
SOFAR, a global leader in solar PV inverters and energy storage solutions, showcased its vision for the future of clean energy at the Renewable Energy Expo 2025. Embracing the theme “Together: PV + BESS = Smarter Energy,” the company unveiled its PowerEasy solution, designed to empower households, businesses, and communities with enhanced energy independence, reliability, and sustainability.
By combining solar generation with advanced storage, SOFAR is establishing new benchmarks in India’s ongoing energy transition and demonstrating how integrated systems can optimise both consumption and efficiency.
The PowerEasy solution offers flexible options to meet a range of requirements. The system is available in Single-Phase (3–8 kW) and Three-Phase (5–20 kW) configurations, making it suitable for residential rooftops, small commercial applications, and larger industrial settings. This adaptability allows installers and EPCs to select the appropriate capacity based on site requirements, energy demand, and potential future expansion, thereby simplifying solar adoption and streamlining project execution.
PowerEasy integrates a variety of advanced features to maximise performance and user convenience. It intelligently manages solar generation and battery storage, reducing reliance on the grid and optimising energy usage. Its high-efficiency inverters minimise energy losses, even under challenging conditions, while intelligent monitoring platforms provide real-time performance analytics, remote troubleshooting, and system control.
Furthermore, PowerEasy meets global safety and compliance standards, including IP66 protection and AFCI, ensuring long-term reliability and safety. Its modular design also supports scalable energy storage expansion, enabling future-ready solutions for evolving energy needs.
SOFAR highlighted its 1–5 kW residential inverter range, featuring a 20 Amp input, explicitly designed for India’s growing rooftop solar market. This range maximises solar yield, integrates seamlessly with digital monitoring platforms, and incorporates robust protection features, including an IP65 rating and AFCI, ensuring safe and reliable operation under Indian conditions.
Speaking about SOFAR’s participation, Mr Zhong Qizheng, Senior Vice President (Global Sales & Marketing), stated, “India’s residential solar market is expanding rapidly, and SOFAR is committed to empowering households with technology that delivers both energy savings and independence. By H1 2025, our shipments to India exceeded 5.5 GW+, supporting EPCs, IPPs, and C&I applications.” He added that SOFAR will continue to innovate and optimise services to provide localised support for India’s clean energy ambitions.
