Canford Renewable Energy (CRE) and Ethical Power Ltd today announced the commissioning of a 5-MW solar farm in Dorset, South West England, where the plant will power an electrolyser for the purpose of producing green hydrogen.
Ethical Power, the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) arm of Ethical Power Group, built the Whites Pit solar farm on a former landfill in Wimborne for CRE. The latter developed the facility as part of the Dorset Green H2 project, which, according to it, is the South West’s first green hydrogen project.

The Whites Pit solar farm was developed for CRE by Ethical Power, the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) division of Ethical Power Group. It is located on a former landfill in Wimborne. The latter created the facility as a component of the Dorset Green H2 project, which is billed as the first green hydrogen project in the South West.
