Naturgy Energy Group, a Spanish utility company, has revealed its ongoing construction of 683 MW wind and solar farms in Spain. The facilities will be turned on for commercial operations in the coming months.
The company stated that the projects are representative of a EUR 528 million investment.
One of the projects that are still under construction is a group of ten wind and solar farms with a total capacity of 228 MW that will begin operation before the end of 2022. According to its press release, the company also plans to commence nine new projects in the coming weeks.
It further stated that it expects to close this fiscal year with 500 MW of new capacity installed and start 2023 with a target of 1,500 MW of additional renewables.
