The panel has an output of 315W, a nominal output current of 1.3A and a nominal voltage of 230V and comes with a micro-inverter. Its dimensions are 170 cm x 108 cm x 12.5 cm, weighing 42.5 kg. for outdoors use, the weight can be increased to up to 94.5kg by filling the panel’s four 13-litre ballast tanks.
The panel also comes with a 5-meter cable that can connect it to a socket. In addition, three panels can be linked together through connecting cables provided by the Supersola. Supersola stated that the average module could generate 370kWh annually in France, reducing the average household’s energy bill by 15 per cent.
The current price for a panel is €699 ($820), and it comes with a 15-year product warranty and a 25-year performance warranty. Supersola plans to scale production to over 100 modules per week.
