The Managing Director Elsewedy Electric, Ahmed Elsewedy has said, the Julius Nyerere dam located in Tanzania will contribute a total of 10% to the revenues of Egyptian energy giant.
Construction work on the $2.9 billion project, will contribute to the cash flows of Elsewedy Electric. The estimated completion date for the project is in 36 months according to Ahmed Elsewedy. He made this known during a visit to the project site in Tanzania. The dam is to be constructed on the Rufiji River in Eastern Tanzania. A consortium of Arab Contractors and Elsewedy Electric will carry out the construction of the dam.
