Tata Power Renewables and Dugar Power have partnered to introduce innovative solar solutions for Nepal’s on- and off-Grid energy needs. This partnership aims to introduce innovative solar technologies to provide a range of energy solutions, both on- and off-grid, signalling a long-term commitment to promoting sustainable energy in Nepal.
The agreement addresses Nepal’s diverse energy needs and offers scalable solutions, ranging from 1 KW to MW levels. The collaboration with Dugar Power represents a strategic alliance with the goal of reshaping Nepal’s energy landscape. By entering Nepal’s promising renewable energy market, we aim to create a significant positive impact,” stated Ashish Khanna, CEO of TPREL.
This partnership also enables TPREL to expand its offerings in Nepal, encompassing the supply of cells and modules, Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) services, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities.
Abhishek Dugar, Managing Director of Dugar Power, emphasised that the TPREL alliance strategically aligns with Nepal’s renewable energy goals and self-sufficiency aspirations. TPREL, a subsidiary of Tata Power Company Ltd, is a renowned player in the renewable energy sector and has a global track record of shipping over 3GW of cells and modules.
