The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced that reconstruction works at the vandalised tower T104 of 330kV Odukpani/ Ikot Ekpene Double Circuit transmission line at Oku Iboku, Uyo is currently underway.
The TCN team, led by the Executive Director, Transmission Service Provision (TSP) Engr. Victor Adewumi paid an assessment visit to the site. The tower reportedly vandalised last month led to a loss of about 400MW from the grid, initiating a grid collapse that left large parts of the country in darkness for days.
