TCN records a national peak of 5,615.40MW

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced the attainment of a new national peak. The General Manager, Public Affair, Mrs Ndidi Mbah, disclosed this on Tuesday in Lagos.
In a statement, the TCN announced that it reached a new national peak of 5,615.40MW. TCN also announced it beat its record of reaching two peak transmissions in one week. “TCN equally transmitted a new Maximum Daily Energy of 116,891 14MWH, which is higher than the previous value of 116,121 42MWH achieved on Feb. 25, 2021, by 769.72MWH,” the TCN said.
The Managing Director TCN, Sule Abdulaziz, has assured Nigerians of TCNs commitment to improving supply in the country despite the challenges it continues to face.
