Vestas Wind Systems revealed has announced that it has received an order to supply 73GW capacity of turbines for a project in Poland. Vestas will supply, install and commission 33 units of V110-2.2 MW turbines that will be used for the project located in northern Poland.
PAK-Polska Czysta Energia sp zoo, a local firm in Poland and also a subsidiary of Polish energy producer and trader ZE PAK SA, made the order for the wind turbines. The business happens to be the first collaboration between the two companies. In addition, the deal also includes a 15-year Active Output Management 5000 Service Management.
The delivery of turbines and their installation will be done in the third quarter of 2023. The commissioning is expected to be done by the first quarter of 2024. Vestas also revealed that the towers to be used would be produced locally.
