Vestas Wind Systems A/S, a Danish wind turbine manufacturer, has been awarded a contract by Pan American Energy Energias Renovaveis to equip the 423MW Novo Horizonte wind park in Bahia Brazil.
Vestas will deliver and install 94 V150-4.5MW turbines under the deal’s conditions. Furthermore, as part of an Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, the company will assist in the optimization of power production for 20 years.
According to Vestas, the wind farm is expected to be operational in 2024.
