Ikorodu introduces the VOYAH SUV, a new electric SUV that blends luxury and advanced technology. This vehicle marks a significant milestone for Nigeria’s automotive sector.

The VOYAH SUV features 20-inch alloy wheels, dual infotainment touchscreens, and rear seat controls. It offers a driving range of 560 to 680 kilometres. Local assembly of this SUV highlights Ikorodu’s growing role in vehicle manufacturing.

VOYAH is a high-end brand from China launched under Dongfeng Motor Corporation (DFM). Established in 1969, DFM leads the automotive industry from Wuhan. The company employs over 176,000 people and operates in more than 30 countries. DFM excels in producing commercial vehicles, passenger cars, and alternative drive systems.

VOYAH focuses on premium electric vehicles. It introduced three domestic models—FREE, DREAM, and PASSION. In 2022, the brand expanded to Europe with the VOYAH FREE in Norway. VOYAH vehicles combine powerful performance, spacious interiors, and advanced entertainment systems for a luxurious driving experience.

DFM commits to innovation with over 7,000 R&D employees and state-of-the-art facilities in China, Sweden, and Germany. VOYAH’s design draws inspiration from Kunpeng, a mythical creature symbolising freedom, reflected in the brand’s logo and vehicle designs.

VOYAH and its service partner, NOYO, developed a network and digital platform in Switzerland. This platform aims to enhance the accessibility and maintenance of electric vehicles.

The assembly of the VOYAH SUV in Ikorodu marks a significant advancement for Nigeria’s automotive industry. It signifies the start of locally produced electric vehicles, set to reshape the future of mobility.
