WeForGood International has announced its 2024 X-Women Championing Sustainable Solutions in Africa, spotlighting exceptional women who drive environmental sustainability across the continent.
Originally launched as the “100 Women Creating a Better Africa” (100WCBA) initiative, this recognition evolved to focus exclusively on environmental sustainability, addressing the urgent need for action against climate change and ecological degradation.
Temitayo Ade-Peters, CEO of WeForGood International, emphasised the importance of this shift. “We promote sustainable solutions through our mission. By recognising these women, we celebrate their work and showcase solutions that inspire others and drive collective action towards a healthier planet,” Ade-Peters said. She praised the high quality of nominations and highlighted their potential to spread the message of environmental sustainability across Africa.
