The pumping station, which cost AED23.1 million ($6.29 million), can pump 7.5 million gallons (34.1 million litres) per day.<\/p>\n<p>According to DEWA, the pumping station is 92 per cent complete and will soon begin supplying water to the solar park and surrounding areas. The pumping station is being deployed in two phases; phase one will see the supply of a daily capacity of 4.5 million gallons (20.5 million litres).<\/p>\n<p>The Solar Park is currently in its third phase of construction and has a capacity of 1,013GW. The capacity is set to reach 5GW by 2030. The fourth phase will see 950 MW\u00a0 capacity added (700 MW of concentrating PV and 250 MW of conventional, ground-mounted panels) is expected to come online in Q3 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DEWA is set to connect the solar water pumping station to Dubai emirate’s network.
